baits to use in laytown

novice fisherman living in mornington,wondering what bait to use and what species are available in laytown or mornington

Mostly flounder and sea trout with the odd bass lugworm is a good bait

Rag or lug 3 to 4 hours before high tide. Bass are there but only when conditions are right. Sea trout on spinners in Mornington. Plenty of mackeral about as well.

Lugworm or sand Eels work best on any of them beaches.
