Ive a penn Affinity twin tip 15 ft and its the best match rod ive ever owned, along with the rod I use a Daiwa Basia fixed spool reel loaded with .20 dia braid and find for most of my fishing this is a trouble free and easier to use set up then my multiplier set up. I only use the multiplier set up now when im trying to get out to maximum range.

have to agree with the penn affinity twin tip brilliant rod for match and general fishing.supplied with two tips softer tip for 1/4 ounces and stiffer tip for 4 ounces up.lots of power in the rod and good bite detection and paired with a fixed spool reel is hard to beat.

I find the 15 ft perfect, all the advantages of a long rod but very managable as against the 16ft which is a tad awkward to use by all accounts.

i have both the 15 and 16 ft models and would have to say sod is right the 15ft is a bit more easier to work with than the 16ft model.
