Carbon spray

I have a couple of loose sprigots and have been trying to get some Carbon Spray.
Maver Graphite spray seems to be the recommended produce but it appears to be no longer manufactured. Maver Joint Build-up appears to be something similar but I can't get a hold of it. A couple of UK online retailers have it but one of them will not post it (Gerrys) and the other will not sent it outside the UK due to restrictions on pressurized containers.
I tried the Maver website but they say the "do not sell directly to the public"
Does anybody know of a supplier that will post it? or a retailer in Ireland where I can buy it?

I got carbon spray from southside angling...but it wasnt maver....preston inovatations, might suit?

I've been looking for it to. The two sites I've found selling it won't post it. If you find a supplier let em know please rockhunter

I used clear laquer before on a rod to get me by few light coats an wet and dry sand to suit was perfect

Try candle wax works great as a TEMPERARLY fix.you should get a few sessions before having to re-apply.

for postage, you could try use Parcel motel. They have a Northern Ireland address, that the UK companies should be ale to delivery to and then Parcel Motel will forward the product to your Local Topaz store.

Thanks for the suggestions. Parcel motel sounds a good option. Although I think I will try the black primer first on one of the rods and see how that goes.

As mentioned, Southside usually stocks the preston one, very same as Maver..

Rockhunter, when you push the joints together, how much gap is there between the sections?
If you have between 20-25mm then you should be able to take a micro amount OFF the top of the male spigot with fine abrasive cloth. This should enable the female part of the joint to slide further down the tapered spigot for a snug fit. Of course, if you do not have a gap between the joints to start with then ignore the above! This method is far preferable to building up with sprays that are very short lived, at best.
