kilkee rock marks?

#1 Post by mull »

hi all, i'm heading kilkee direction tomorrow(16/5) and i was hoping someone might be willing to share a couple of good marks in that area with me. The only place i've ever fished up there was dunlickey( i think :?: )and to be honest i wasn't that fond of it i'm not great with heights  i'll be heading off early in the morning so i can be there a couple of hours before high tide and it would be great if i knew where to go instead of wasting time driving around looking for what i think look like decent spots to fish from :!: any help or suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks. Ideally i would like to catch some wrasse, rays, bull huss but at this stage i'd be happy just to catch something.

Do you have any particular target species in mind? When you say Dunlickey you seemed to be mack bashing at that time. If you have some target species then lads that frequent that area may be able to point you in the right direction.

Tight Lines.

the rocks under the golf clubhouse are good for spinning or off the bottom with bait. the bridges of ross just past dunlickey are good for wrasse and drive round to the left of the beach are the pollock holes for wrasse also. there are a few spots on the estuary fairly close to kilkee like poulnasherry that can be great for ray.
Always CAR! unless its a pollock...!

2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.
Would do anything for a bass!

Id say the bridges of ross would be dangerous if this wind doesnt f*ck off

Rouge wave got me there two years lost some lures and a reel. Thought I was going in too.
Dangerous when your not paying attention.
