Cheers Andrew. Yeah a good day out. Will def be back for sure! Well done to all and particularly those who got PB's. I think Austin got a PB on the 125g.
Good to meet some new people. Nice setup Paddy.
PS A trip to Steyning sometime this year would be good craic.

Re: sportscast ireland results 27/6/10
Another great turnout at the hill with dry and humid weather.
Wind: SW 8/12mph- 1016mbp- turning cross court for the 2nd half of the day!
Top spot went to AG with another great wanging display, puttin both leads out the back of the court.
Stevie R was back with a bang after a long break away, did very well and knotched up some very impressive distances on his 1st time back on an official court!!
Top wanging Steive, great to have you down buddy and look forward to seeing you again.
Well done to all who got new PB's.
Distances in meters/PB's in bold.
Andrew G- 150g/249.59..125/249.77
Marty H- 150/240.91..125/235.50
Steivie R- 150/239.04..125/223.70
Paddy C- 175/218.36..150/220.30..125/226.80
Cracko- 150/221.53..125/223.55
DBrock- 175/206.20..150/211.60..125/218.43
Richard G- 150/212.51..125/???
Lee G- 175/185..150/206.50..125/206.90
Shane H- 150/??..125/205
Austin A- 150/204.68..125/201.35
Ken F- 150/199.33
Mac- 150/??..125/176.80
Kstaff- Opted for a Gurnard match and won with 29!!
Again a big thank you to SOD for laying on the food/BBQ
and to all the usuall faces for helping with the court, it was very much apriciated.
A special thank you to Roger for bringing the Contender back for a return visit, still this rod made it off the court in tact after been purely abused after neumerous casts launching a "1lb" bell boat lead!!
Video to follow of that one....Pure class!

Another great day out with SCI. Great distances on the day in far from ideal conditions, and the crack was mighty. Well done to the top three, especially Stevie, very impressive.

Re: sportscast ireland results 27/6/10
great day lads, with some very good results too...
thought the barbie was super, my casting definately improved after a couple of them burgers
fair play to sod and dennis for the effort
be great to have it again
nice to meet stevie too, and watch him cast!! pretty impressive
and roger also, great stills and vid, nice work...but why did'nt you cast?
the great contender made a guest appearence with what grm weight?? nobody tried to pendulum it anyway, it looked heavy enough to anchor a large ship!!
i've a handful of stills and some vid too which i'll put up in a bit
