RAG!
Can anyone tell me how to keep rag in good condition and is there anyway of toughening them up before use i only need to keep them for a day or two at most before use. Im using them for some experimental spinning but they only last a few casts was wondering if i can harden them up

Re: RAG!
I keep them in a drop of sea water in the fridge and I change the water every couple of days, before casting dip the worms in the sea this is supposed to toughen them up.

Re: RAG!
Put them in news paper about 3or 4 hours before you go keep turning them on dry paper .they go like rubber and get a great shine and colour.as above dip them in the sea before you cast .some fine fat fellas in fhe ferry

Re: RAG!
how ye. I always keep rag in newspaper with some seaweed in with them and then put some sand onto the rag when you get to the beach. The sand will give them a bit of grip too for baitin up.

Re: RAG!
You have a few choices, dry the rag in newspaper ,and then re-wrap in damp weed, they also
keep well in vermiculite, find that this toughens them considerably, some lads dont like it.
both ways work.
