There's a fishing shop at a patrol station just as you enter Kilkee with a large sign in English and polish. I've never found the bait to be any good there. There is a map outside showing the marks around. Fresh mackerel to be got by driving a few miles along the coast to Dunlickey AKA castle point. Just be aware it's a 100 foot cliff.

Hows it going mate. dont know about bait shops but id say you might be able to catch a few fresh mackeral from the rocks. i fished close to there a while back in a spot in kilrush it was a nightmare with the amount of weed but its supposed to be great for ray and huss.

The tackle shop on the way into Kilkee at the old petrol station should be your first stop Micheal Bourke is the owner and the bait i've got off has aways been good.
Fresh mackeral can be got a castle piont or if your lazy at the top of o'curry street about 9am on saturday mornings about 1 euro eh.
Micheal will give you directions to a few good marks.
I've down there a few times had ray huss garfish bass flats and conger.
