it was on a century bass , smoothie of around 8lbs , landed it , great fight , next cast it snapped !

now children play nice! if shakespear can make a rod like the contender the other rods cant be all that bad :mrgreen: i havnt seen anyone casting a pound of lead with a zippy latley :mrgreen: :mrgreen: in fact i havnt seen anyone casting a pound of lead for far too long now!! :twisted:

i'm using daiwa grandwave surf & shakespeare medalist fs
my other setup - zziplex HSM & 7ht mag - will be my favourite, but i need more time for training - i've never cast before with multiplier
