event cancelled due to low numbers as most members have other engagements, besides the field will be very boggy and slippery so best to rest it. We are hoping for some dry weather soon.

Sunday the 1st march will hopefully be a casting day, we will get the field looked at before hand to see if its in a usable condition

there will be no casting on Sunday the 16th march as its mothers day but we will (hopefully) cast the following Sunday the 22nd of march

Well the heavy rain of the last few months has disappeared for a while and the field has had a chance to dry, so we got back to flexing some carbon today. The weather was beautiful, warn dry and sunny with a northwest wind of around 5 to 12mph, unfortunately this soon changed to a westerly which for us is a cross court wind. We put up with the conditions for a good while but with only three members today the rounds where thick and fast and the lack of casting showed as about 2pm we where tired and sore, so it was decided to call it quits early. The lack of practice showed as two of us where way out left but they found the court in the end, there was a few crack offs too but where found easily in the short grass.
