great catch kilkee bay

just got this in my email, great fish from kilkee reef,
looks like some kind of jack?
i guess if people used modern techniques like speed jigging more of these
would be caught

That is an amberjack ... not sure about Kilkee....

According to a piece on the drowning worms website, it was caught fishing off spain! Maybe Kilkee has migrated? :mrgreen:

Codling, sea bass, mack's, flounder, Dab, three bearded rockling, coalfish, dog fish, bull huss, ballen wrasse, Pollock, European eel, cuckoo wrasse, ling, conger,scorpion fish, cod, pouting, blue shark, whiting
