Nice to get a bass too. The weed is a right pain in the balls alright. Maybe a bit further up the river could be better

Hey Guys

Thinking of venturing down this way on Saturday night and just wondering if it would be fishable? i'm hearing a lot about weed there and its a long way to drive for that.

Not really sure where the marks are exactly. I know Ferrypoint and Claycastle Strand but not sure where the Carpets are. Any advice lads?

Cheers

J

Fished Ferrypoint last Sunday it was thick with weed even on a slack tide

4.1mt tide on Saturday, it will be hard going fishing the estuary you'll be lucky to get an hours fishing either side of low water.
