Hi all
I have caught Thornback/whitning/doggies/hounds/flatfish/cod/rockling/Tub gurnard a few others over the years but i have to admit that they all must have been lucky catches as i have little insight of
sea fishing methods i only know how to tie one knot and buy shop ready rigs i have been just winging it.
Id like to learn more and catch more fish should i join a club? is there one close to tallaght any help would be great thanks in advance .

There was a few lads in the cuckoos nest that fished together, dont know if they were affiliated, or still going, joining a club is your best bet, there are no short cuts, and its a continuous learning curve.

The Stella Maris meet up every month in the Old Mill in Tallaght. They run both shore and boat outings throughout the year. Plenty of experienced anglers there that would be happy to show you the ropes. Club sectary is Peter McCartin 0872203637.
