I'd say the wrasse will be like hens teeth now, you might get 1 or 2 off the end of the lighthouse pier in Howth.

Good going getting the Wrasse, saw a couple of nice coalies (40cm) caught out there this summer, Wonder if it's worth a shot on a night tide?

Re: Anyone getting any wrasse around N.dublin
yea sad to see, you wana hear the shite he was trying to tell me, there fast growers and there loads of fish in the sea... the worst part i thought was he wasnt even from ireland, i no a man is entitled to a fish or two and doesnt matter that he not irish n all but he had absolutely no respect at all for the species, were he got his facts i couldnt tell you, i think he just made them up in his own mind, thinking i didnt understand about the about the species.lurehunter1 wrote:There always at it out there seen it a few timeslurehunter1 wrote:doggy wrote:saw a guy bagging poor wrasse in howth , he thought he was some sort of angler, clown made me feel sick, told me he took a 5lb the week before
suppose it wil end up like everything else in this country, used and abused,
any wonder the sport is in decline
