I have seen the iglo and they look the business.. I wouldnt mind getting one myself when the RT gives up but I think that will be a long way away tbh
The best advice i can give you is to buy a garden trowel/ small hand shovel, it makes a hell of a difference rather than using your chopping board or hands in compacted wet sand
I didnt realise how big these are inside so I have retracted my words and now getting one of these bad boys
Been using the RT for about 4 years now. Never ripped or got damaged, never had trouble putting it up and there is plenty of room in it. I think its light enough to carry any distance along a beach but the only down side is the size for transporting it in the car.

id rate the tripod highly if the wind is howling as its very heavy and stable but if you've a long walk it can be a bit much. on a not so rough night i use my ian golds.
as for the shelter? wouldnt take it for free, you'd crack your kneck after an hour lookin at bites.
bought the RT one a while ago. used it 2 or 3 times. seemed like a great idea when i didnt have one but now i look on it as one more piece to carry. i have switched to high quality breathable waterproof gear. the trick with this is to wear breathable moisture wickking undergarments as well as top layers. they are worth the money.

I know what ya mean because i bring the lot to the beach.. just afraid of forgetting something... shelters are a must during windy weather though to store the baits and gear from getting blown down the beach.. Its also somewhere when it sunny to get in the shade and protect the bait.. They definitely have there uses if your on a peg for 5 hours
