Co. Antrim beach mark 13/5

Duration:18.00-01.30

Tide:hw 11ish

Weather:fair/odd light shower

Bait:Rag/mackeral

Rigs:wishbone/pennel pulley

Results:1 turbot




Report:Was heading up home for a few days to see the family and decided to bring the rods and give the north coast a hit for a session!! Arrived at beach about 6 with a nice surf rolling in, got set up with 2 rods in the water!! All was quiet for a few hours then noticed a big slack line on 1 of my rods, took up the slack and struck into some decent weight, after a brilliant fight managed to land a 9lb 140z turbot about 100 yards down the beach from where i was set up!! what a pleasent surprise, looked like a bin lid!! Fished on until 01.30 with only a few crabs to account for!!

crackin turbot not many about that size of the shore 8)

were does the tornado come from in your username it would come from owning a benelli tornado wud it by any chance????

were was the mark u were fishing m8 thats a cracker iv always manded 2 fish 4 them and dnt no were to go
