Please can someone tell me where I can get good quality frozen sandeels on the Dingle peninsula during the summer? By good quality, I mean reasonably large sandeels that have only been frozen the once (and therefore don't go to mush as they thaw out!)
Although I have a small freezer that I can run in the car, it's not big enough for me to take a full weeks supply with me. Last year, Landers didn't have any by late July and although Garveys in Dingle itself did have some decent sized sandeels they weren't of the best quality.
Thanks for your help.
Richard.

If you try landers in tralee again you should get a few.

Chris in Atlantic Tackle will sort you out, no worries.

Re: Frozen sandeels - Dingle Peninsula
Never had a problem with sandeel from Landers and have bought them there for donkeys years. If you ring ahead they will keep some aside for you. They also sell various sizes so you can order large ones if you wish.

Garveys SuperValu in Dingle town centre sell them too. Quality is ok from experience.
