Has anybody fished rogerstown lately?? And is it any use???

Never had much luck there despite putting in a lot of hours but may not have got the right tides/conditions in fairness. If you're planning on bait fishing there's a huge amount of crabs there which makes it very difficult.
There's lots of mullet in it in the summer and the odd bass gets caught there.
You see a few sea trout jumping there and some people spin and fly fish for them. Never seen a lot getting caught though.
I don't know whether theres still any bass knocking around but otherwise I wouldn't think it's a great time to fish it. Could be wrong though.

Thanks a million for that, any other good spots on the northside, fished greystones yesterday, caught a few but had to give up as the place was full of weed blowing in!
