Hi All
I am going into my second season after picking up shore angling during summer 2011, I had a great time and feel I have learned alot, I reeled in 20 Mackerel in an hour on a Dexter wedge at Greenore Co Louth which I am proud of plus I turned them into fish cakes to boot! I feel as though I hit a brick wall and do not want to become a weekend warrior only targeting mackerel in the future.
I am eager to get out again but I am not confident about going out late evening during the winter without a bit of activity around me. Would anyone know of a few spots from Louth to Dublin that would have some action and activity in the evenings?
Thx

clotherhead can throw up codling, pollock and flatfish and beaches like baltray throw up flatfish and bass in summer.. if you want more consistent catches south dublin and wicklow are worth a look...
