clifden area reports

im new to this and am wondering if anyone has been fishing in and around clifden in galway lately.

hi Robk this time of year you wont get too many species but there are plenty of dogfish,flounder,coalfish,and whiting around to keep a lad busy,even a odd thornback ray and cod around if you know where to look :wink:

clifden bay starting to yield results..
sun eve 12/2 fished two hours before high water, in the dark,,2 dogfish and a very small thornback
last of the mackeral bait used roll on 2012!!!
