Connecting surface lures

#1 Post by daveyboy »

Just wondering does anyone find any difference in the action in surface lures depending on how they're tied on or connected? I normally use a Rapala knot for plugs but was wondering would a tighter knot like a uni or blood knot make a surface lure respond more quickly to jerking the rod etc??

I found the rapala knot weakened the line so stopped using it. At the minute using a grinner type knot
Try again, fail again. Fail better.
