Only 1 pup caught in the ECR comp last night on balinoulaghrt, sea was a bit rough for them, I reckon the next settled spell of weather will see them on the wicklow and wexford beaches.

had 8 pups in arklow last friday no sign of any bigger one yet.

lads seem to hit north dublin first

I was fishing southbeach Arklow with a friend Friday the 3rd and got a Pup Smoothie on crab! On Sunday 5th he got one on sandeel! Hope the big lads show soon

I fished Morriscastle over the weekend. Only had a few pups. Weed was terrible.

The 23rd on wicklow will be more of a doggy bash always a chance of a hound. Over the years a six hour event was averaging 40 plus dogs
