digging lug??

Hey everyone.... just wondering is there any point digging for lug this time of year wit the really cold weather?? wud they be too deep for digging??

A little bit deeper but still plentiful.
Kstaff has always been the new black in my eyes anyway!!!!!!!

still plenty of them about. as paul says just deeper.

No problem at all! You will still get plenty of them. Was digging yesterday morning with -8. Wouldnt last long out there without the digging keeping me warm.
There was loads of huge black lugs actually suprisingly close to the surface. Maybe 11" or so.
Had 20 after 40min, nice big fat black lug and 8 white rags, was surprised myself because it was only my second time digging. :mrgreen:
Was at low tide rising very close to the lowtide watermark in slightly muddy sand.
