Hi this is my first post so go easy if this has been asked before.

Could some one tell me were the best part of the Greystones beach is to fish (beach casting) ? Im not fussy about the type of fish either.

If it's the South beach I normally go under the bridge and down to the right about 100 yards or so. Only fished it a dozen times and mostly in the colder months but there are fish there. More regular guys might have a better idea of the beach though.

Down at the bottom of the driving range at the southerly end of the beach is my favourite part of the south beach, fishing by the small stream.

the south beach is best were you set up doesnt really matter bar a few snags here and there..use multi hook rigs in winter with lug being the best bait for codling, whiting, dabs and coalfish while in the summer try fish two rods, one with a single hook rig with big baits for bass and smoothound and another rod with a 2 hook flapper in close for dab, plaice, flounder, coalies, schoolies etc. in summer peeler crab sandeel and ragworm work best..... a flooding tide at night time seems to produce better fishing.. hope this helps
