Re: greys triplex
I use the 16 foot one Eddie. They are a nice rod. Eyes are a bit on the light side. I have managed to bend two eye frames without knowing why. Excellent distance with the longer rod with an overhead thump and bite dectection is excellent.
What type of fishing will you be using the rod for?

Re: greys triplex
should be perfect for clean grouns stuff. Just go easy of your using the heavier weights.

Re: greys triplex
was going to get one but the extra thick blank put me off. went for the penn affinity instead (the long one).

Re: greys triplex
Wouldn't call the blank extra thick, but I suppose compared to the rods produced in the last couple of years it could be seen that way.
