anybody own or used a shimano speedmaster stc spinning rod. if so what are your thoughts.

Do you mean Beastmaster stc.I've used one of these for 5 years, pollock to 15lb & ling to 18lb,wrecking in channel isles.A better rod is the 2 piece version(sbmax300h or sbmax300xh).Difficult to find but worth the searching.Perfect for pollock.

no its the speedmaster.i got one in the end. a more subtle spinning rod that the beast master. a nice travel rod.
