,9,4lb.
went to a mark i had not been to in 20 odd years, pat had taken some good fish here recently to 11.5lb. there was a fairly big surf+swell combined with a fresh on shore breeze which made casting into it with light plugs/poppers difficult the furthest i could cast was around 30 meters, put on a heavy sandeel type lure first cast, just as the lure reached my feet it went solid, gave it a few jerks to free it, then it jerked back

before charging of soon had a nice bass of over 6lb. beached. pat got a 4lber. shortly after. we then went back to a rocky outcrop that pat had taken several good fish from, sure enough within 10 mins. he hooked up to a 9+lb. that took the lure as soon as it hit the water, i followed this up with a 5lber. we then moved about a mile to another mark, we worked our way along the beach for 200 meters, till we reached the hotspot i had put on a deep diver and as it passed through the surf right at my feet it went solid, i held thinkibn it was kelp when the wave receaded there was a bass of 7/8lb on the stones the next wave swept him back into the surf were it shot off, played it and was attempting to beach it when the hooks pulled

pat then hooked up again right in the brakeing surf this fish shot of and was stripping line at a scary speed, it tryed to round some rocks, pat tryed to stop it then the hooks pulled

another 7/8lber. took some pics. on phone(forgot camera) that i will try and post.....
