Neon mainline
I usually stick to clear lines, actually always...im gonna load up a reel now but im tempted to put neon yellow on it, its gonna be a bass multiplyer so i dunno, any advice/insight very welcome...

i use bright yellow daiwa tournament (15lb) for my bass fishing and see no difference between my results and those using clear.also very useful for night fishing as its easier to see.

any colour will do once it dosnt clash with your reel/rod or clothing you wouldnt want tongues waggin mr green :D a well turned out angler always does the bizz (keep an eye on the stubble too)some anglers manage to pull more than fish off the strand :lol: :lol: as the pros say presentation,presentation ,most important!!

i don't notice any difference in catch rate in regards to line colour either. the majority of salt water fish are colorblind according to the NEFSC and only respond to movement, shape and size. so as long as your line doesn't have the diameter of rope you should be alright!

fair enough but... some lines may stand out in contrast to surrounding possibly making spooky fish wary. maybe...

Try to use clear if I'm fishing shallow water venues Mr.Green, both for snoods and mainline. Least then I'm not paranoid that its putting any fish off. To be honest though thats mainly for comp or bass fishing. Generally for rough ground stuff I'm not as fussy.
Sea Species(25) bass, codling, whiting, turbot, seatrout, stingray, pollock, coalfish, longspine scorpion, ballan wrasse, dogfish, ling, pouting, poor cod, dab, mackerel, smelt, sandeel, launce, bull huss, painted ray, thick lip mullet, golden grey mullet, rock goby.
