People: Me, myself and I

Duration: 1600-1800

Tide: mid-low out-going

Weather: overcast, dry, blustery north wind

Bait: spun sandeels (preserved)

Rigs: sabiki shrimps/ koster/ tobys

Results: 8 mackerel (all singles), 6 Pollack, 20ish Coalfish

Catch and Release:: Yes/No

Report: Went to a mark I know near ardglass today after work....tide was nearly out, steady north wind.... I saw locals in boats around 300-600 yards range off Phennick point pulling in 5 mackerel a cast for 3 hours solid...the sea was alive with them,....I ended up with about 8 from the shore at full cast, all singles using shrimp-like sabiki's. I also caught a few pollack and about 20 coalfish on spun sandeels.......not a bad few hours......not many seals about yet, thank god!
