I got a new rod for Christmas and want to try it out. Havent been fishing for a few months :evil: :evil: . I am in the Dublin area and have a car to use. Any spots would help pm if you want. Very desperate to go fishing.

I have a new series on Saltwater Lure Fishing beginning tomorrow in Irish Angler. Its in three parts over the next few months - might be of some help to you

covering - safety, techniques, lure types and equipment, species, catch and return etc

Sounds good i could do with some help on lure fishing have not been to successful.

How are ya jack.
Its a poor time of year for spinning at sea to be honest, not a whole lot happening. If I was you would try and maybe get out after the pike!?
I require a tremendous amount of calcium
