seat box or bag

which do you think is better a seatbox or a large bag?

ive tried both and have found that the seatbox in my opinion is more functional.i feel i can organise and modify it easier, with a conversion is comfortably to carry and keeps my tackle in better condition.saying this if a mark does require a few miles+ of a walk to get to i will use a rucksack or my lumbar bag

in other words it depends on where your fishing?

does the seatbox have a cushion and what the maximum weight that can sit on it?

think you can get a cushion alrite but its an extra. i'm 15 stone and takes my weight no problem and a friend i fish with is heavier and it has no trouble with him either.

Would agree with the above,

would use the seat box for beaches and alike and the a rucksack for rocks where the box would be to cumbersome

I agree with everyone above the box takes loads and protects everything get a shakespeare beta box and fit a breakaway back rest and carry straps converts box to a rucksac and chair all in one. Well worth it as very easy to carry the weight and comfortable seat.
