Plenty off small mackerel off balbriggan with a few herring mixed in ,I was fishing on a boat but well within casting range from the shore

16th Oct

Rock mark in Cork between Roberts Cove and Oyster Haven.
The seas were very rough but plenty of Mackerel and all good size. Small feathers did the job. 3-4 per cast.

23/24th (report from friends)
Good numbers caught by boats in Cork Harbour out of Crosshaven past Bull rock.

Seen a few being caught off the west pier in Howth yesterday
