Kilty lures for mackerel
Does anyone rate the larger 32 gm kilty for mackerel? I've had success with the smaller one but lose confidence in the bigger one quickly when after mackerel thinking it's too big.

Hi
That's all I use for Mackerel, they are great for distance and they work, I've had loads on all the colours, particularly the green and red.

A bad day fishing is better than a good day at the office!

Yep I've had loads of mackerel on the larger kilty too plus they'll take Pollack bass and sea trout too

Good to have the option of a heavier lure for distance or stronger tides. Will give it a bit more time if the mack ever turn up! Cheers

I found the 32g version pretty good for anything so far, even pollacks gulped in on the silver one and they been 2.5x the size of it only.
Just take your time on retrieval (if bottom allows), my fav is one cycle on spool and 1-2 time flicking rod wait until back to ground, rinse and repeat.
