Carpets closed Wednesday night. I headed over to ferry point. Fished for 2.5 hrs with frozen crab not a fish. Worst session I had there in years very disappointing.

Fished Garryvoe on Friday night, I fished the right-hand side of the rocks in front of the caravan park first, about one hour into the flood I caught one small coalie and one small codling. Moved to the area of beach in front of the hotel and about three hours into the flood I caught a 10.13IB painted ray! I caught it on peeler crab/ lugworm cocktail on a one up, one down flapper rig with size one hooks with 12IB snoods, didn't expect it all as I was trying for codling/flatfish. Best ray I caught in over 10 years. I changed to grip lead at the top of the tide as the waves were interfering with the tip, had one missed bite but after that it went quiet.

Fished green park on dropping tide Sat evening, plenty of coalies and small codling, not much else, seen 1 small bass caught also, most fish on mussels and crab.
