beach fishing in wicklow

#1 Post by mulletman1 »

hi guys , i was living in the midlands for that past few years so had to be content with a bit of freshwater fishing , but now i'm back in the big smoke and would like to know what to expect to catch over the winter on the wicklow coast and the best methods and tides to fish

The wicklow beaches in winter are usually plagued by small whiting amongst other species such as dab coalies and codling but mostly all small fish into darkness with two hook rigs and use lugworm and fish for baits.... If you want a better chance at some bigger codling you could travel further to sth Wexford or waterford
