Deep water quay youghal

Hi lads,
Is there public access to the deep water quay in youghal at night when there is no boat tied up ? & is there any way of knowing is the quay boat free before traveling down to youghal.

yes there is you can drive onto the carpets mark, maybe ask here is there a ship tied up on the quay wall before you head down....
Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

I think that's the address...if not, google for marine traffic...tells you were any boat is in real time, it could save a journey
sure, its not raining between the showers!

Sometimes the gates can be locked even if there isn't a boat moored at the pier.
But there are plenty of other marks around Youghal harbour which are just as good if not better !
Cod season Winter 2013/14: 117 cod (best fish: 6.5 lbs)
Cod season Winter 2014/15: 193 cod (best fish: 4.25 lbs)

there is a small slip way to the right of the quays if the gates are locked also you can fish around the bandstand in green park also the slob bank to the left of the quays you will get cod from any of them marks if there around

Always CAR! unless its a pollock...!

2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.
Would do anything for a bass!
