if you got a bass in the last few weeks?

if you where lucky enough to bag a few bars of silver did they squirt at ya (ie where they ready to spawn) most fish i have seen looked good but not fat enough for romantic encounters :lol:
normally fish hooked in late april or early may would be squirting all over the beach and round as barrels ,not this year i think????

Had my 1st one last night. It was very lean!

I had this fish 2 weeks ago it was a fine and stocky. I didnt notice any squirting. Had a few schoolies too the same night and since but they were probably pre-pubesant:grin:

i had 5 or 6 in kerry and 2 squirted out white stuff :) anyone know what it was

I was nearly squirting when I got one last week :roll: , but the Bass werent :?

I have had Four bass the past two weeks and no squirters! Three of us beached 18 between us on tuesday and none of the lads mentioned any full of roe or miltit. Probably all about the low temperatures at the moment.

I had 11 over the last few weeks, all looked rather slim and a few were fairly scrawny. There was no squirting.
I reckon the spawing season is going to be late this year.
Cod season Winter 2013/14: 117 cod (best fish: 6.5 lbs)
Cod season Winter 2014/15: 193 cod (best fish: 4.25 lbs)

i thought so ,i think this year is going to see most of them waiting till june to do the bold thing !i suppose the angling had to suffer with this global weather feck up we have gone into ,all that melted polar ice and cold had to go somewhere :lol: on our heeds :roll: :roll:

Had 2 to 9lb, skinny but long, no spawn.
