hello just wanted to know wat can be caught around ballymoney beach this time of year as mite b planning a trip.

not a lot at the minute. not much beach left after all the bad weather.

Comes into its own around july wit a mix of species including flatfish bass and some very big hounds :wink:

cheers thanks for the replies will b doin some work in carlow so was gonna bring the gear this week but think mite b a bit early for anythin decent thanks again!

Bass have started showing up in the area, smoothy too from what I've heard. Still a lot of flats around, a little further south will throw up better fishing and slightly warmer water, would probably be worth the trip
