The only place you'll see fish is the aquarium in Lahinch hehehehe

you may pick up the odd schoolie from any of usual marks and maybe the odd flounder but it is always a struggle at this time of year. If you fancied a drive out Cappa Pier down at Killrush is fairly deep water and may throw up the odd surprise or at least a few dogs to keep you interested for the day.

Dont waste your time with it during summer holidays as it is rammed with lunatics, mackerel bashers and kids leaping off the end of it. It is best off the end out into the channel but you can only fit a few people comfortably and there are always those who want to drive to the end and fish out of their car with the radio on full blast unless the barrier is up.
There is also a good spot for huss about 4oo yards to the left but it is very snaggy.
