Hi lads.
Arrived on Sunday, the weather was horrific, they get some wind in the west! Saturday my hangover was horrific, they have some wine in the west! Took a spin to old head but tide was out too far, went to Berta then but there was an ominous cloud on the horizon. fishing would have been pointless. Just back from Lecanvey pier, I only stayed an hour. Had a single and three double of dogfish on mack strips.

One doggie was fairly deep hooked. So I decided I'd try him for the pot. Quickly dispatched her, packed up and drove the 5 min back to the house. Quick youtube search and I got the info for skinning. So now I have what looks like this lovely loin on muscly fish. I have yet to remove the spine. Will probably remove the spine later. I'll cook it tomorrow, will it be legit in the fridge?

Any tips? I've had rock salmon before from the clippers and it was nice.

I think I'll soak it in milk for an hour, batter it and fry.

Any advances on that?
