I found it a bit heavy and stiff spinning all day as a small child, I wouldn't now obviously. I know it's a Daiwa as my dad and I both had them in different sizes and they both said Daiwa on them. 100%

I am also nearly certain it's a Daiwa rod you have there, check out the pictures underneath, there are many similarities apart from the full cork handle.

If you compare the stickers you will notice that Daiwa has changed their company logo a few times over the years but it looks very close to the one on your rod as far as I can make it out from the photo.
