East Cork weed

Hi All, going to fish a beach in east cork this evening low tide up.Any weed to report as the wind is S/E now & it was south yesterday. I'm driving down from north cork so any reports would be very grateful thanks

Garryvoe may have been clear but elsewhere was unfishable with massive rafts of kelp stalks,choose carefully.

yep fished the 2 of the bally beach's the cloyne side on Thursday painful to fish

Update from last night.
4h before high tide Ballybranigan beach was like wee field so moved on to Inch, beach was clear but tons of weed just coming in. Made 2 casts and left the battle scene.
No advertising!

It will take a good constant northerly to clear them beaches, had a hard time myself on youghal strand and Bally/b last Sunday :evil: long trip from Dublin only to blank :oops:
