courtown

#1 Post by robbiemag »

People:meself and lads from work

Duration:4 hours

Tide:Rise

Weather:rough

Bait:Mack, squid

Rigs:Pulley

Results:Loads of dogs

Report:
Took a group of lads from work to courtown for a couple of days. The beaches did not fish to good with only one dog fish got between 6 people fishing. We tried 2 different beaches with various baits and nothing to show for it. We went out for a few hours on the boat from courtown with Billy. The weather was very rough so we headed for a sheltered mark with the hope of maybe a tope or a ray. The lads were pulling in dog fish one after another. Nothing else showed. We were kept very busy with the doggies. Everyone caught a good few, so all went home happy they didnt blank. I hope to bring them to kilmore if the weather allows us in the coming weeks. Wishful thinking:lol:
