Re: Best Bass lures???
Hi agardiner22 ,There is no bass lure that is better than any other as its just down to what they may be feeding on
at that time,or it could be an instinct bite/take from a bass to any lure because they are a total predator,it can all
come down to a list of factor's, i.e, time of day/tide/what bait fish maybe around at the time they are feeding, you can
open up a hornets nest over this one,and everyone will have their own idea's ect,all i can say is try everything at
any state of the tide and hope for the best, and apart from that you can do no more unless the fishing god's are
looking down on you!!!
Good Luck

Re: Best Bass lures???
+1 . Finding them feeding is 90 percent of the battle. Bass could take pretty much any well presented eel/worm/baitfish lookalike when it swims right in front of its eyeskilkeeconger wrote:Hi agardiner22 ,There is no Bass lure that is better than any other as its just down to what they may be feeding on

Re: Best Bass lures???
To answer your question my favorite at the moment would be the TACKLE HOUSE FEED SHALLOW 128F #06 Pearl rainbow Glow Belly.
I got it in Shankill Angling center in Dublin try them might have some left.
I have had great success with this lure, and gone out fishing with mates who where using all kinds a lures, and this lure out fished them well.
But like the guys above said "Bass could take pretty much any well presented eel/worm/baitfish lookalike when it swims right in front of its eyes" would agree with that.
Its nice to have a favorite

Re: Best Bass lures???
The feed shallow is without doubt a top killer all over the country, pearl, ayu or mullet all producing good fish.
If you are after personal favourites, I have had most enjoyment with the cheapest hard lure in my box the lucky craft gunfish in ghost sardine. A lovely lure to watch work and very effective.

Can't really go wrong with the feed shallow, either white or rainbow also try the komomo 2 rainbow.

Re: Best Bass lures???
I haven't caught alot of bass on the lure. nearly all of the have been on a german sprat. one was on a kilty catcher.
as one of the previous posters said find them feeding and you will catch them.

Re: Best Bass lures???
Bass lures must be as effective at catching the angler as the fish. The amount of money I've spent on them over the years isn't funny!
Just as well I'm not a fish or I'd be long dead!
