wait i'm lost! does that mean there will be weed in or does that mean it will be great bass fishing?
I've never really understood how sea weed can be predicted. does it come from southern winds blowing north? Is it worse on the flood or the ebb. honest i have never quite figured out how it works.

If there's a strong south wind blowing your going to get weed.. and it takes about 3 days to clear that's wot I think but If it's blowing 10 to 15 km I think your safe enough usely if it's blowing to hard on the south id play it safe and fish the east coast and visa versa... Hope iv helped ya!!

Re: Wexford this wknd
it did help thanks. drove down in the end anyway. was horrible with all the weed on the saturday at Kilmichael, but landed a nice 6-7 pound smoothhound on the Sunday night in Courttown.
Like you said the wind was under 10km with no weed and i landed a bueaty to christen my new rod
