Just wondering is there much point trying poolbeg for smoothound during the day or is it best to save the bait for a high tide in darkness?

you wil lget them in daylight but it not as good as darkness but the main thing is the tides they need to be big 3.8 or above and theres no need to take the long walk all the way to the lighthouse anywerefrom the car park to the half moon will see you pick up fish on the right tides
