I'm looking some advice regards shore fishing in the killybegs area, I am heading up in that direction for a few days next week and was wondering if the pier can still be fished or where the best place would be.
Thanks Robert

what sort of fishing you looking for?
killybegs pier i mean old one can still be fished for macs when they there
and then there is few spots around area could produce something
beaches around are full of hollyday makers so would be hard to do something in daylight

thanks for getting back to me, was thinking of macs and have been told that its closer to Donegal town where I'm going. I really fancy some fishing anywhere close and I the beaches will be no good so you got any ideas?

Take a trip out to St John's Point one day. Should be a few mackerel and pollock about. Float fish close in and you might hook a wrasse or two. Best in midweek.....not so crowded!
