With the break in the weather I was out spinning in the morning at my main mark, it was slow for the first hour but until the fish came on the feed all Pollock around the 2lb mark with the odd big one mixed ended up with eight Pollock & lost at least six more fish, nice morning to be out. Only down side was I left my Mobile phone behind on the rock
July 6th
Decided to try a mark I’ve only fished a hand full of times down through the years the only problem with it is a thirty five minute hike to get to the best spinning platform but said id give it a shot, the walk out wasn’t to bad as it turned into a lovely bright day & conditions were perfect for spinning & from the off the Pollock were hammering the Spinner again alot of fish around the 1-2 lb mark but on the last few casts a fine Pollock jumped on the spinner just missing it
July 12th
This was an quick early morning Wrasse session at my favourite mark & it didn’t disappoint plenty of Ballan around & one single female Corkwing but the high light was a fine specimen Ballan which took Lug fished in a deep gully just under my feet what a scrap
