They're just elastic/rubber bands! Push it over the point and trim and it's the perfect bait stop. I think this was shown in an article in one of the English mags last month, TSF I think? You just need to make sure that the band is wide enough to act as a stop.

The name of the booms was written in spanish because i bought them in spain last year so i dont have a clue what they are called . I have yet to see them or anything like them in a tackle shop over here .
