any one fished it lately was ther this time last year had a few small cod and a few flattys might head ther on teusday

There are some older posts on it here with reports of a 5lb being caught to lug back in 2008 around this time.
I'd be interested in any more recent reports myself.
My daughter (7) is dying for a codling but obviously she has no distance casting
I was thinking it may be easier for her to just drop it off the bridge! And I can't help... she has to do it herself 
Planning a session for Sunday evening but weather looks crapola

Any other idea's around east cork where a 7yr old girl could cast and catch a cod?
Maybe more shore fishing is called for, she's just too used to the boat
