Is it early enough in the winter for the roads to be gritted? Or will it be a big drunk sleep over in youghal? Any info on the weather will be appreciated the local ones are forcasting worse than the budget

Jimmy Smith
Is there any word on the weather forcast for the weekend? Anything I have heard so far is all bad talk of -3 in cork and worse. I'm coming from Kerry and am wondering will it be possible to get home with the trophies

UP THE DEISE!!!!!!!
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.
KStaff winning matches is the new black.

Re: Jimmy Smith
We're still coming as well Its looking like the return journey will be an exciting one. I figure 2300 will be the earliest we'll be leaving youghal after the prizes.
Now that the Wreckfish has a room we all have a place to stay
Would I be right in saying that the forcasted north easterly winds arent going to do the fishing any favours? Its going to be bitterly cold anyone with a drop of Poitin will be warmly welcomed to my peg!

Re: Jimmy Smith
Some of the results here.
I've sent the full results to the Provincial secretaries
I’ll post them here during the week.
Well done to Kevin Barber (jimmy Smith winner) and Jordan Muir (Maurice Dalton winner) and Munster the provincial team winners.
I've corrected a "sort" error in Zone C I'm blaming it on the drink

Edit at 20:32

congrats and well done kevin. great result.
congrats and well done to jordan super result you did the bass club proud lad.
i think congrats and well done must also go to aghada angling club with donal domeney at their helm for the excellent job they did running the jimmy smith. everything was spot on especially the superb prize table that awaited the winners on their return from a tough day on the beach. unfortunatley the weather was a major headache on the day but not even donal domeney could sort that out!
